Privacy Policy
This website is operated by Tzion Tahar, a sole proprietor (Yosef Sapir 1, Petah Tikva, Israel). This page explains, in plain English, what information we collect, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. We've kept it short and honest on purpose.
What we collect, and why
Information you give us. When you sign up for a free course, buy the book or a course, or write to us, we ask for the minimum we need: your name, your email address, and your message. Your email address is how we deliver what you signed up for and how your course access works.
Payment information. Payments are processed by PayPal. Your card number goes to PayPal, never to us; we never see it and never store it. We receive a confirmation of the payment and the email address you provided for delivery.
Usage information. We run simple, first-party analytics on our own server: which pages are visited, for how long, and on what kind of device. We use it to understand what helps readers and what doesn't. We honor the "Do Not Track" setting in your browser.
Advertising measurement. Like most sites that advertise on Facebook, we use the Meta pixel and related tools so we can tell whether our ads are useful. Meta's own privacy policy governs what Meta does with that data.
What we never do
We do not sell your personal information. We do not rent our mailing list. We do not send email on behalf of anyone else, and we only email people who asked to hear from us.
Who helps us run the site
A small number of service providers process data on our behalf: our hosting provider (Railway), our email delivery provider (Resend), PayPal for payments, and Meta for advertising measurement. Each receives only what it needs to do its job.
Marketing email
Every marketing email we send includes a working one-click unsubscribe link and our postal address. Unsubscribing stops all marketing email; emails about your purchases and course access still arrive as usual.
How long we keep information
We keep your information as long as you have an account relationship with us (for example, ongoing course access), plus what bookkeeping law requires for purchase records. If you unsubscribe, we keep your address on our suppression list so we never email you again by mistake.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us at any time to show you the personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. We honor these requests from everyone, regardless of where you live. Write to us through the contact page and we'll take care of it. Deleting your data ends your course access, so we'll confirm with you first.
California residents: we are a small business well below the thresholds at which the California Consumer Privacy Act applies. We honor access and deletion requests anyway, as described above.
Children
This site is written for adults and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll update this page and the date below. We won't quietly weaken your protections.
